  • SMALL LESION DETECTABILITY

    Activity at scan time = 1.6 mCi / 59.2 MBq. Discovery MI 25 AFOV scanner at low activity utilizing the deviceless MotionFree acquisition of 20 overall minutes. This case demonstrates a combination of low-dose PET & MotionFree respiratory scanning as a routine workflow. Comparison to static images reveals improvement in lesion size and quantitation.

    MotionFree was applied only on one bed, saving 2.5 minutes compared to if a device was used. Size and activity of lesions are enhanced with respiratory motion correction. Different Q.Static times are providing a comparable IQ. Both are better at capturing the lesions in the liver area.
